March

All Dalux products have received noticeable updates during March, for both the desktop and mobile applications.

Compare drawing versions GPS connector Public safety observations

Drawing versions can now be compared on the Dalux mobile app.

This allows your on-site teams to quickly see changes when new versions get authorized for construction, reducing the risk of following old specification.

Connect your mobile device to an external GPS antenna for improved accuracy of all registrations. Registrations will show the precise location and include data about accuracy.

This feature significantly increases accuracy on-site from meters to only a few centimeters.

Enable this new feature to allow anyone report safety observations to your safety managers, whether they are part of your project or not.

This feature reduces the risk of any unreported safety issues, making your construction site safer and preventing accidents.

Locations on the mobile app has received usability updates, allowing you to measure when doing cuts, or zoom to a perpendicular view when using laser measures.

Field now supports inviting users via the mobile app and reporting deviations when creating test plan registrations. The recording time of SiteWalk has been increased to eight minutes.

InfraField now supports GIS styling to match desktop styling. Snapping to alignments makes it easier to select alignments when creating cross sections.

Operations and maintenance has received several improvements for the communication of work orders with suppliers. They include more information, and you can accept expected prices before orders are confirmed. Service agreements can now be linked to lots and can include custom data fields.

February

In February the first major product update of the year was released for Dalux introducing new features, refinements, and performance enhancements.

Edit comment markups Tender groups Deviations

Comment markups can be edited and you can fix mistakes or add missing information as long as the comment status has not changed, no message was added, or no new version of the file was uploaded.

All changes are saved in the comment's activity log, and you can view previous versions of the markup.

Tender groups offer a new way to manage tenders by allowing you to group different tenders together and share the same organization and files across them.

This helps you manage multiple tenders and keeps your organization and tender files consistent.

Create deviations directly in test plans and link them to specific test points when work does not meet quality standards. Subcontractors can report deviations and request approval from the construction manager.

All deviations follow approval templates and workflows for consistent handling and documentation.

Field now makes it easier to set up inspection plans by associating task templates across multiple inspection plans. You can share SiteWalks to the Owners Portal with a custom starting point. Existing tasks can also be linked to checklists. The interface for daily log status has been updated, and you can now approve multiple daily log entries at once.

Box improves file flows to handle multiple flows with newer versions, helping prevent them from getting stuck. You can also set character type and length requirements for metadata.

InfraField quantities now let you use cross sections with custom drawn layers to calculate volumes along the alignment. You can also import a custom PROJ string for coordinate systems. Alignment data is available directly from Box.

Locations now displays a cut line in 2D when using the split view. You can link point-to-point measurements, switch between 2D and 3D cuts, and selected objects in 3D will be highlighted on drawings.

Design now includes support for displaying point clouds. Model validation has been enhanced with an onboarding process for disciplines. Property checks are now displayed in a separate section within the validation matrix.

Translation in Field tasks Scan QR codes outside of the Dalux app HelpDesk topic groups

In Field Pro, subjects, descriptions, and messages can be translated in the end users' language.

This makes communication in multi-lingual projects easier, allowing users of different language to work together effortlessly.

New QR codes for Dalux projects can now be scanned with your regular camera app.

Scanning will lead you to a landing page that allows you to open or download the Dalux mobile app or to create FM tickets right in the browser.

Group HelpDesk topics for a clearer overview for reporters.

You can structure your topics in up to 10 groups, so reporting users can find correct topics easier. This allows for a smoother process for all HelpDesk users.

General changes to the Dalux mobile app include a wide view when taking photos. In DaluxFM, custom user fields can be hidden for users.

Locations has received numerous improvements, including a dynamic split view, various measure improvements, and a slider for 3D cuts.

InfraField allows opening 3D from the map view and supports default GIS and alignment data.

HelpDesk zone setup has changed slightly in preparation for future improvements. Zones also support QR codes, and their visibility can be toggled on or off.

November

The November 2025 update introduces new features and improvements to Field, Box, InfraField, Locations, and Tender.

Project Connect Compare 360 images with 3D in InfraField Duplicate comment and markup across files
Project Connect is a new feature that lets you easily, automatically, and continuously transfer files from other projects you're involved in, but don't own, to your own project. Allowing you to maintain control over your own project, manage your own tasks, keep data ownership, and ensure continuity.

Easily compare your 360 images directly with the 3D model in InfraField Pro to track your progress or view the as-built in a 3D context.

You can now view alignments in 3D as well and zone properties can be edited for multiple items at once in the list view.

Comments can be duplicated across different files and pages, including both the comment and its markup.

This makes it easier to create the same comments for similar issues, while still letting you track and follow up on each one individually.

Field has introduced a new onboarding process to make getting started easier. You can now create test plans and inspection plan workflows as empty placeholders in both projects and the company profile, and workflows can be copied. A new task and checklist activity dashboard has been added to the company profile. We've also improved Excel exports to include summation rows and status colors. Additionally, exporting registrations from Field to the Owners Portal is now simpler.

Box now supports hyperlinks in documents that link to other documents or drawings. When using stamps, you can reuse a previous markup or one from a comment on the file. A search bar has been added to the new PDF viewer for easier navigation. Comparing model files from Box now uses the list view from Design.

InfraField now includes support for alignments in the 3D view. When you add or edit properties for zones or station lines, you can do it in an easy-to-use list view that lets you make multiple changes at once. You can also use pre-defined construction symbols to style your GIS and choose which GIS data or alignments are shown by default on the map.

Design now includes improved model validation with added property checks and property rules in the validation matrix. You can also run checks server-side for a single building, making it possible to view clashes directly in your browser.

Tender questions and answers can now be disabled once the question deadline has passed.

A new version of the Dalux desktop application (3.6) along with a new version of the Dalux Revit plugin (6.3) has was also released.

Stamps Filters in work packages Hyperlinks to documents
With Stamps, you can add markups and a QR code to drawings when publishing them. The stamp shows who authorized the drawing and when, and the markups highlight last-minute changes. The QR code shows if the drawing is the latest version in Dalux. With the addition of filters in work packages, it is easier than ever to find the right workflow. You can select from a set of predefined filters based on workflow type or create your own filters by combining types and names. Hyperlinks now allow you to link drawings to documents. This means that you can open relevant documents, such as specifications, directly from the drawing - giving you quick access to the information you need.

Field has made some updates to how test plans and inspection plans are set up by turning them into individual workflows. You can send tasks asynchronously, allowing you to continue working while they are being sent. Additionally, spreadsheets exported from different Field features now come with the same filter and sorting options you find in the Dalux list view.

Box now offers asynchronous uploads, so you do not have to wait for files to finish uploading before continuing with Dalux. The PDF reader has been improved, making it easier to navigate, with better zoom options and page overviews. Comments in documents are organized by page number, and when creating new comments, metadata from previous ones will be suggested to you.

InfraField now displays thumbnails for other 360 photos within a 20 meter radius. You can easily access the compare view, allowing you to quickly compare two 360 images from different dates or between a ground shot and a drone shot. Additionally, a cross section view has been introduced in profiles, and DXF file format is now supported.

Locations now allows you to choose which model files to use for sourcing room data. When you compare the model with point clouds, the model will appear white, making it easier to view the point cloud comparison.

Design has introduced a new approach to model validation. You can now create folders for various disciplines and link 3D object groups to these folders. All checks can be executed simultaneously, and you can view the results in a new matrix layout.

Tender improvements include exporting ended Tenders in one go. Public tender links opened on a mobile device now lets you see the tender details and download tender files.

We are also introducing API identities for Dalux Build API and Revit 2026 plugin support.

Operations & maintenance and HelpDesk have also been updated, now including a new notification and email signature setup.

New email notifications and signatures Share user fields between work orders and tickets Automatically place images with GPS data
Email notifications have been simplified and standardized. Admins can manage which notifications the system sends, and individual users can choose the notifications they want to receive. User fields can now be created for both work orders and tickets. You can map user fields to a work order template and HelpDesk topic, allowing the data in these fields to be transferred from tickets to work orders. If your 360 or standard images contain GPS location data, you can now upload multiple at the same time and have them be automatically placed on the map. You can also use the multiple upload without GPS data and manually place the images.
