FM release notes 2025.7 & 2025.8

Welcome to the Dalux FM release notes for 2025.7 (December 9th, 2025) and 2025.8 (January 6th, 2026).

Here are the highlights and detailed release notes for Dalux FM 2025.7 and 2025.8.

Work order history in service agreements HelpDesk topic groups Toggle background visibility for HelpDesk zones
You can now view all past and upcoming work orders linked to a service agreement. This makes it simple to keep track of all completed and scheduled work. Group HelpDesk topics for a clearer overview. This makes it easier for users who report tickets to find the correct topic by limiting the amount of topics they see. HelpDesk zones can now be shown on a drawing with the original drawing faded in the background for better visibility. This can help reporters get a clearer idea of their location.

HelpDesk

HelpDesk topic groups

You can now create HelpDesk topic groups and add specific topics and links to them. This makes it easier to organize your HelpDesk topics and can limit the amount of topics a reporter sees when they first open the HelpDesk. Reporters on desktop or mobile just pick an overall category or department and only the relevant topics are shown.

You can create up to 10 groups for your FM instance.

Introduction of zones and changes to HelpDesk zones set up

You can now create general zones on drawings in FM. Previously, zones were only available as part of HelpDesk zones. You can now create a general zone in Locations with one or more polygons covering your rooms/areas, and this zone can be added to a HelpDesk zone.

You need admin permissions for Locations to create zones. Existing HelpDesk zones are automatically created as new zones in Locations and used in existing HelpDesk zones.

This is the first step in a series of product updates that will further expand on zones in FM.

Toggle background visibility for HelpDesk zones

To help reporters quickly see where to report issues in HelpDesk zones, you can now toggle the background visibility on. This displays a faded view of the entire floor plan while keeping the rooms or areas for reporting issues highlighted.

Scan zone QR codes

QR codes are now generated for general zones, enabling both FM and HelpDesk users to scan the same codes as part of the new zones and HelpDesk zone update mentioned above.

  • FM users will get an overview of work orders, tickets, and asset/room information
  • HelpDesk users can automatically create tickets in the zone. Reporters can specify the location by placing it on zone drawings or selecting a room within the zone

Operations and maintenance

Service agreement work order history and upcoming work orders

When you view a service agreement, you can now quickly see all related work orders, including both completed and upcoming ones. This helps you get a clear overview of all the work orders associated with the service agreement. You can also create a new work order directly from these new views.

See who completed the checklists

You can now see who completed checklists, as their name appears in a 'Completed by' field. This is visible both in FM and when a checklist is printed as a PDF.

Duplicate assets in the supplier portal

Suppliers with edit permissions for some or all assets can now quickly duplicate an asset right within the supplier portal. This can be useful, for example, when your suppliers are creating assets in FM while installing new systems.

Work order template field no longer shown to suppliers

To make the work order clearer for suppliers, the template field is no longer visible in the supplier portal.

More entries shown in history log

When opening a work order, the history log at the bottom is now automatically expanded and will show up to 20 of the latest changes to the work order.

Larger description field in work orders

The work order description field now adjusts to fit longer text, making it easier to read full descriptions.

Documentation

Asynchronous download of multiple files

When downloading multiple files from Documents we now download the files in the background and you can continue working in FM. This makes it more clear that one or more downloads are in progress.

Deprecation notices

Removing 'Notifications' on work orders

The built in notification system on individual work orders and recurring work orders is no longer available.
