Welcome to the Dalux release notes for 2025.6 (Sep 17, 2025).
New mobile versions for the Dalux FM and HelpDesk apps have been released on Android and iOS and supports the new features seen below.

Improvements to new QR codes
New generated QR codes after the release, can be scanned outside of the Dalux FM or HelpDesk app, using your regular camera app or QR code scanner. New Dalux FM QR codes has a small Dalux logo, making it easier to tell them apart from other QR codes.
Please note that all existing QR codes continue to work as usual, but they can only be scanned within the Dalux apps.
If the person scanning a new QR code for rooms or assets does not have the Dalux FM or HelpDesk app installed, a new browser based version of HelpDesk will open where a ticket can be created without the app.
Create HelpDesk tickets from QR codes without the HelpDesk app
Newly generated QR codes for assets or rooms can now be scanned without having the HelpDesk app installed.
Without the app, users can access a mobile-friendly site to submit a ticket. This makes it easier to submit tickets to the HelpDesk for people who have not yet installed the app.
Information such as HelpDesk ID, customer ID, and location will automatically fill in from the QR code and cannot be changed by the user.
You will still need to download the HelpDesk app to follow the progress of your ticket.
For this feature the following must be turned off in the instance:
- Require HelpDesk ID
- Require two factor authentication
- Validate email domain
QR codes for HelpDesk zones
QR codes can now also be generated for your HelpDesk zones.
Create read-only properties on assets
Properties on assets can be set to read-only, allowing only administrators or asset administrators to edit them, while others with permission can only view the data.
