Every task you create requires review and confirmation. This ensures that the subcontractor has understood the issue and taken care of it, and that their solution meets the quality standards.
This step ensures proper follow-up and closure of tasks in the workflows.
Your inbox
All subcontractor replies will be sent directly to your inbox, whether they have resolved the issue or declined it for any reason. You are responsible for reviewing and closing each one.
If you oversee many subcontractors, apply filters to sort tasks by subcontractor, type, or status to identify urgent items quickly.
Reviewing a reply
Open the task and check all relevant information, including attached documentation. Then scroll to the log to read the full communication history.
The task begins with general information such as the work package, workflow, and deadline.
Then it provides location details, first showing the overall placement (green box, left) and then the exact point (green dot, right) on the floor plan.
Below is the message log, which tracks all communication whenever a task is assigned, reported ready, or closed.
Each step is recorded and cannot be changed, ensuring complete traceability.
Approving and closing
If the issue is resolved and no further information is required, confirm completion by selecting Approve, close. Always include a brief note when closing a task to support future reference.
Closed tasks go to the 'Closed' folder.
Tasks closed by mistake can be reopened, but only by the user group who created them.
Reassigning a task
If the issue remains unresolved, send the task back to the subcontractor and clearly describe what is missing or requires correction before it can be closed.
Tasks assigned back move to the 'Ongoing' folder.
You can open a task in the ‘Ongoing’ folder at any time to check progress, or request an update by reassigning the task.
