Workers on-site do not care about internal document numbering codes. When users navigate in Locations, they will see the Title, not the file name. Make sure to title your drawings and models in Dalux using clear, everyday language so anyone can easily recognize them right away.
Keep your structural layers flat
Only use disciplines and sub-disciplines if your project size demands it. Adding extra folders creates extra taps for mobile users, making information harder to reach.
Upload standard industry formats or use plugins
Use the standardized IFC format for 3D model files, and high-quality PDF or DWG files for 2D drawings to ensure clean performance on mobile devices. If the design team updates files frequently, they can use Dalux plugins for Revit, Navisworks, ArchiCAD, or Tekla to sync models directly.
