With the release of 2026.1, Tender will experience significant layout updates.
This update will be rolled out between February 21st and February 28th, 2026, depending on your region.
No existing data will be deleted—these changes only affect the interface.
The new layout allows you to create grouped tenders with assigned permissions and attached files, making it easier to control access and streamline the creation of new tenders.
This will speed up your workflow and provide a more organized structure.
The example below shows how the new layout lets you create tender groups—one for each sub-tender phase of a project—so you can manage all contracts within the same phase without affecting other groups.
It also allows you to quickly copy a new tender within a tender group in minutes.
Existing tenders
Since your company is already using Tender, your existing tenders will automatically migrate to the new layout. As a Tender administrator, it’s important that you familiarize yourself with the updated interface.
The bidder layout will remain unchanged, so bidders will not be affected by this change.
This video will show how the interface looked previously and how your current tenders will migrate to the new layout after the release.
Example of upgrade
Under Ongoing, the tender “12.Foundation” has been moved below a "group tender" with the same name.
It retains its previous status and name.
Instead of showing the status as the first level, you will now see the tender groups, each containing a single tender below.
This structure is only necessary because you have already used the Tender module.
Going forward, this is not considered best practice; instead, you should create a tender group with multiple tenders below.
Users
In the new layout, the "Tender organization" and "Active bidders" are now separated.
The Tender organization is included at the group level.
This means that when you add a new document responsible or tender responsible, it is done at the group level, and they will automatically have access to all tenders within that group.
"Active Bidders" will remain at the tender level and have been renamed to “Bidders”.
New bidders can be created at the tender level, as usual.
Tender requirements
Tender requirements will remain at the tender level, so no change here.
Tender files
Tender files will be moved to the Tender group and automatically linked to the tender.
So there will be no change to the files added to each tender before and after the release.
If you need to upload new files, it is now done at the group level.
The files will be updated automatically at the tender level, as the settings “Sync files from tender group” and “Sync file versions from tender group” are both enabled for your tender.
This setting can be configured for each tender within a tender group, allowing you to control whether tenders are updated automatically or manually.
Questions/Answers
Questions and answers will remain at the tender level, so no change here.
