How to set up Capture

This article will help you get started using Capture on your project.

We cover activation and permissions for Capture. Note that the setup is the same if you are using Photo albums, 360 photos, and/or SiteWalk.

User rights

To activate and set up Capture, you must be a project administrator or Field administrator.

If you want to learn how to use the features in Capture, you can read more in these articles:

SiteWalk is included in Field Pro.

If Capture has not been activated on the project, start by going to:

SettingsAdd features 'Capture' Activate.

The Capture types can then be activated in Settings Field 'Capture types'.

From here you can select which types to activate. Note that you need to activate 360 photos before activating SiteWalk.

You must give user groups access to either 'View photos' or 'View and upload photos'.

You can either select 'Groups with access' and add a user group and their permissions here:

Or directly in a user group by clicking Add Capture.
