This article covers how to use the BIM model on the project for importing assets to Handover. Import from the BIM model is based on the BIM properties set in the model, so it will vary from model to model what properties are available.
You can only import assets using the BIM model(s) from Locations.

Importing assets from the BIM model
Start by going to:
Handover

Import.
In the pop-up window, click on From BIM and then 'OK'.
A new window will open. In the two drop-down menus, the building and BIM properties can be selected.
In this example, we are using a simple BIM model, and will filter on the BIM property 'Category'.
When selecting a value to import from the list, the work package and template must be selected before they can be imported. It is possible to specify the asset status and choose between importing a single or multiple assets.
- Single asset = one asset will be created containing all the objects.
- Multiple assets = multiple assets will be created one for each object.
The typical approach is a single asset.
Multiple fields can be edited at the same time, by using the green drag-and-drop selector.
When done click on 'Import'.
The assets will be imported and can be seen in Handover.
When assets are imported from the BIM model, the location data is automatically saved on the asset.
