How to use Photo albums

Capture in Dalux is used for various forms of location-based photo documentation. Capture can be used for photo albums, 360 photos, and the SiteWalk feature.

With Capture: Photo albums, you can organize your photos by the date they were taken and group them based on specific locations.

User rights

Users with 'View and upload' permissions can edit name and location data. Only project/Field administrators can delete individual photos or photo albums.

 Tips and tricks

Photo albums need to have a location set before they can be saved.

By default, a new photo album is named after the date and time of creation, and the room property if available.

We recommend creating new photo albums if you take photos on different dates. This way the date and time are automatically added to the name of the photo album.

How to use Capture for photo albums

Mobile Desktop

Create and view photo albums on Dalux Mobile

 

Photo albums in Dalux can be created and viewed on the Mobile app.

Press the -icon on the Home screen 'Photos' New photo album.

We recommend using Locations to create new photo albums, as setting a location is required.

Press the location on a drawing New registration 'Photos' New photo album.

Photos can be taken in Dalux Mobile or added from the device.

The photo album can be renamed, and a location can be selected or changed, before saving the photo album. A location is required before the photo album can be saved. When you create a photo album using Locations, the chosen location is automatically saved.

To view photo albums on Dalux Mobile, go to:

Locations Filter 'Photo''Photo album'.

Photo albums will then appear as green dots on the drawings. Click on the green dot and select the photo album to view or edit it.

Recover deleted photo albums

Deleted photo albums can be recovered or viewed from:

Settings Field Capture 'Deleted photo albums'.
