Archicad plugin

This article will show you how to upload your models and files from Archicad to Dalux, with the Archicad-Dalux-plugin.

First, download and install the Archicad plugin. You can find it in the upper right corner, by clicking on your name:

In the Locations module, add a new building, where you will import the Archicad models and files:

Settings Locations Buildings Add.

Open our Archicad project, go to "File" in the upper left corner, and click on "DaluxBIM Upload":

The first time you click on "DaluxBIM Upload", you will have to enter the email address and password you use when logging into Dalux.

Select which Dalux project/building you will upload to. Then, click on "Next".

In the next box, select which 3D views and which zones you want to export:

In the next box, select which layouts you want to export:

Click on "Next".

Now, choose a location for the files to be uploaded in Dalux Box. To change a location, click on a file and then on "Select Folder".

Note

You do not need a folder structure to upload your files from Archicad to Dalux.

If needed, you can also choose a status for these files, by clicking on "Select status":

Finally, a last box sums up what is about to be uploaded to Dalux. Click on 'Export' to start the upload:
