In Dalux, you can link documents to 3D object groups in the project. This way you can add relevant documentation to the object groups and quickly find information on the objects.
This allows you to conveniently access relevant documents by navigating the model, without the need to search for the documents in Box.
How to add a document to an object group

You need to have 3D object groups activated and set up in your project to add documents to them. Read more in this article: How to create 2D / 3D object groups.
To add a document to an object group, go to

3D object group:
Then select the object group that you want to add your document to and click 'OK':
Technical information
If you enable the file areas feature in your project, documents that are added to an object group will only be visible on the objects if the documents have been published.

To find documents related to objects within object groups, go to Locations. Choose the drawing you want and then press
. Select an object from the group that includes the added documents. Then, click on the properties bar to see the related information.
Tips and tricks
You can identify if an object is associated with a document by looking for a -icon in the properties when the object is selected.
