How to set up Dashboards in Company profile

In this article, we will go over how to use the dashboards, and you will learn how to create custom dashboards suited to your purposes. Using the dashboard allows you to gather general information about task activity across your projects.

You can create and share public dashboard links, allowing anyone with the link to view it.

One main dashboard is already set up and cannot be changed. This dashboard shows your total number of tasks, number of projects, and task activity past two weeks and past two months.

User rights

Only company administrators can create custom dashboards. However, all company profile users can see the dashboards.

You can create and share public dashboard links, allowing anyone with the link to view it.

To create custom dashboards, go to your company profile.

To do so, first click  the -icon next to Analytics and select the initial layout you want.

The dashboard creation is separated in to three areas:

  1. Settings
  2. Dashboard name
  3. Adding charts

In the settings area you can:

  • Cancel the creation or changes made to the dashboard
  • Save the dashboard
  • Add a new element to the dashboard
  • Apply a filter to the entire dashboard

With a selected layout you can click on Select chart to start inserting data and customize the displayed information as you like.

You resize and move the elements around.

  • To resize an element move your mouse to the corner and move and drag
  • To move an element, hover your mouse over the element and hold and drag the element around

Note

You cannot save a dashboard if elements are overlapping. Overlapping elements will show with a red outline.

If you need more elements in your dashboard, click on Add element. Then select one and move and resize it to fit in your dashboard.

When you are done with your dashboard give it a name and click Save

When done, the dashboard will appear in the side menu and be visible to all company administrators and observers.

Dashboards can be edited by clicking Edit.

If you want to share the dashboard you can create an external link, by clicking Share. The dashboard will be in read-only mode for anyone with the link. One or more links can be made and shared with different people.

The link can be deleted if you want to remove access to the dashboard.

How to delete a dashboard

To delete a dashboard first click Edit. Then go to More Delete dashboard.
