Dalux Mobile

This is a quick overview of the most essential features of the Dalux mobile App. Read these articles for more information about the features:

The Home screen

1. Press on your project's name to change between different Dalux projects.
2. Press on a task in your inbox to open it or press on 'Inbox' to see all tasks you are responsible for. 'Show all folders' shows the tasks you are involved with but are not responsible for at the moment.
3. Scroll down to get an overview of other current activities in your project.

Answering tasks

When viewing a task, press to access the response options.

• Add information: Fill in information without sending the task.
• Assign: Forward the task to a different user.
• Report ready: Respond to the task and send it back to the creator.
• Reject: Send the task back to the originator without any action.

Locations

In the locations tab, you can access the project buildings that include models and drawings. Drawings give you an overview of open tasks in the selected area.

1. Press on the level to change to a different level or drawing of this level.
2. Press on Tasks to filter or show a different registration type. More info about task statuses: Task statuses
3. Press on the drawing to
   1. see open registrations,
   2. see room or zone data,
   3. create a new registration, or
   4. open the 3D view at the selected position.
4. Open 3D, measure, or find more information.

Open the split view by pressing on your drawing and pressing . Select an object to view the BIM attributes, create a cut or measurement, or create new registrations related to the selected object.

To create new tasks or document inspections:

Press on a drawing or a 3D objectNew registrationSelect registration typeFill out the information and take a picture.

Box

In Box, all project documents are organized in folders and subfolders. You can access documents based on your user group. You can use the search bar to find files. This search bar uses 'deep search' which also searches for words inside documents.

At the very top, it shows what area of the Box module you are in. You can press here to switch to different areas of Box depending on your permissions.

You can press next to the folders to download them for offline use. Press on a file to open it on your device.

The More menu

• Project: Change between Dalux projects or Dalux FM instances.
• Contacts: Search for users in the project and view their contact information.
• Groups: See all the different user groups and the members in the groups.
• Prepare for offline: Download tasks, drawings, and models if you need to work offline.
• Scan QR code: Scan Dalux QR codes for zones, rooms, or 3D objects. Scanning Dalux QR codes will open the location/object and display information and registrations.
• Help: Open the Dalux HelpCenter in a web browser.
• About: Display information about the app version and your device.
• Your name: Change your contact information, App language, and other settings.
• Log out: Log out of Dalux on the device.
