Registrations made on the map are only displayed on the map and not on buildings or drawings.

How to use maps
Using the map allows you to see your location and the area around the construction site. You can also create and see new registrations on the map.
Use the map on Dalux mobile
The map can be found in the Locations tab.
If the project is using both buildings and the map, you can switch between these with the /
icon.
When you are in map view, you can use the -icon to go back to the last viewed drawing. Similarly, when you are viewing drawings, you can use the
-icon to return to the map view.
To switch between custom map layers, press on the name of the map layer. Then, choose a different map layer from the menu and close the menu by swiping it down.
You can use the Filter to display registrations made on the map. It functions similarly to filtering on drawings, where you select the registration type from a list. Registrations will be displayed as labels or dots on the map, depending on how much you zoom in. You can then press the registrations to open them.
New registrations can also be made, by pressing on the map and selecting a registrations type.
Registrations made on the map will save the GPS coordinates.
Use the map on Dalux desktop
On Dalux Desktop, the map is accessed in Locations. Many of the same functionalities are available on the map, as well as in buildings, such as filtering for registration and creating new registrations.
- Toggle between the map view and different locations, like buildings.
- Registrations are displayed on the map, either with a label or as a dot, depending on the zoom level.
- To create a new registration, click on the map.
- Switch between different map layers and adjust the transparency of the map to make it more or less visible.
Registrations made on the map will save the GPS coordinates.
Tips and tricks
If you do not see the registration type panel, click in the search field and the panel will show.
