How to use safety inspection
How to use safety inspections on Dalux Mobile
Creating a new safety inspection on the Dalux mobile app is done on the home screen.
Then press on 'Checklists' 'Safety inspections'
-icon in the top right corner.
This creates a new safety inspection that can then be filled out. When pressing the red button, for a safety category (or thumbs down when using the count type) Dalux will automatically pop up a safety issue task. This task can be filled out and sent if needed.

How to use safety observations
Safety observations are available for everyone on the project. Safety observations are sent directly to the safety managers, who can decide on the appropriate actions.
Creating safety observations on Dalux Mobile
When safety observations are activated, everyone on the project will have Safety observation at the bottom of the home screen on Dalux Mobile.
When pressing Safety observation, a new safety observation task is created and can be sent to the safety managers.
You should add a photo and select a category. Then send the observation by clicking the -icon.

All users on the project can create safety observations. To create a new safety observation on Dalux Desktop go to:

How to use public safety observations
If public safety observations are activated, anyone can report safety observations, even if they are not part of the Dalux project. Reporters must scan a dedicated QR code that is installed around public spaces around the construction site.
When scanning the QR code, a form opens on the default browser, allowing reporters to fill out relevant information and take pictures.
The safety manager is notified about these and can find them in a dedicated inbox in Dalux. Similar to other safety observations, the safety manager can then create safety issues or good practices, link them to existing tasks, or delete them if they are not relevant.
How to use good practice
Safety managers can acknowledge positive safety measures and precautions as a Good practice. A good practice can be created individually, or from safety observations. A good practice is visible to all users of the project.

Safety managers see and create good practice from the mobile app, by scrolling to the bottom of the Home screen.
When pressing , a new good practice task can be created.
You should add a photo and select a category. Then send the good practice observation by clicking the -icon.

How to export weekly reports
It is possible to export safety inspections as weekly reports.
To do so, go to:

From the pop-up window select 'Weekly report'.
When using the count type in safety inspection, the weekly report will show the overall safety index and safety indices for the individual points.
